Miroslava Ahern, LLC is a thriving Nantucket based Landscape Design Studio. From dramatic seaside retreats to luxury residential homes and groundbreaking commercial developments, our projects are uniquely designed to combine the experience of the exterior with that of the interior. Our team of creative landscape designers produce designs that are intended to provide an oasis and retreat feel to each project.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated successful management of complex projects from schematic design through construction documentation and implementation.
Experience in high-end, single family residential design, or small-scale commercial development
Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced studio environment
Strong hand rendering, digital graphic and technical skills. (Grading and Construction Details)
Strong skills in site design, technical design documentation and construction observation experience
Self-motivated with the ability and desire to lead others in the design and construction documentation/construction observation process
Proven ability and desire to engage and retain clients as well as mentor junior staff.
Ability to provide an accurate development schedule and work within set project time constraints.
Assisting the Design Director by managing projects and junior staff
Tracking and recording product status; drawing approvals and production goals.
Maintain industry knowledge and trends in landscape design
Select inspiration images and create mood and concept boards.
Acquire samples or generate prototypes as needed.
Coordinate and attend meetings with Contractors and Landscapers as needed
Requires becoming an integral part and presence in the studio and on Nantucket Island as required.
Various other responsibilities to be outlined throughout the course of your development.
Requirements
B.A from an accredited landscape architecture or architecture program, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in Landscape Design
Professional Licensure preferred
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ISketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Land FX, Microsoft Office Suite; Desired familiarity with SketchUp or other 3D rendering programs, REVU and Drone experience
Nantucket, MA
Remote work option is available. Some travel may be required.
